This lesson is designed for intermediate paddlers who want to elevate their balance, footwork, and overall control on the board. You’ll learn techniques for walking on the board smoothly, mastering buoy turns, and performing fun, creative maneuvers that make your paddling experience more dynamic and enjoyable. Whether your goal is to build confidence on your feet or simply have a blast learning new skills, this session will give you a fresh perspective on stand-up paddle boarding and help you feel more comfortable and capable on the water.
Our lessons are private, making them perfect for solo paddlers, friends, or family groups, and no swimming experience is necessary. Everyone will be provided with a life jacket and a SUP leash attached to the board for safety. We meet at Liberty Station in San Diego, behind the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, and paddle down a calm, low-traffic channel that leads to a private military dock. The experience includes paddle board rental, a US Coast Guard-approved PFD, and action photos and videos of you on the water.

Colin was really helpful with finding my first wetsuit for an upcoming triathlon.
